What is the temperament of these wolfdogs? Our wolfdogs have a friendly temperament. They are intelligent, loyal to their owner, and learn quite quickly. It’s essential to teach them everything you want them to know in the future, ideally within their first year. Walks on a leash, car rides, city noise… socialize, socialize, socialize. Simply spend time with them, take them with you as much as possible so they get used to everything. Although they look like wolves, their behavior is friendly and gentle. They are suitable for active individuals or active families who are looking for a loyal companion with an adventurous spirit.
Are these dogs hard to train?
Northaids can be challenging to train for some people. These dogs are not for complete beginners or those who expect the dog to raise itself. They have a unique nature that requires patience, understanding, and a real commitment to spending time and attention on them.
What makes training challenging?
They are extremely intelligent, but this intelligence is paired with independence. They often think for themselves and won’t blindly follow commands. They need motivation and a positive approach. They are very sensitive to the tone of voice and emotions of their owner. Harsh or inappropriate methods can cause stress and distrust, which can damage your relationship. A positive approach is key.

Aká je povaha týchto vlčkov?
Naši vlčkovia majú priateľskú povahu. Sú inteligentní, oddaní svojmu majiteľovi a celkom rýchlo sa učia. Treba ich naučiť všetko, čo od nich do budúcna chcete, ideálne do roka. Prechádzky na vodítku, jazda autom, ruch mesta.. socializovať, socializovať. socializovať.. skrátka venovať sa im, brať ich zo sebou čo najviac aby si na všetko zvykli.
Hoci vyzerajú ako vlci, ich správanie je priateľské, jemné. Sú vhodní k aktívnemu človeku alebo aktívnych rodín, ktoré hľadajú lojálneho spoločníka s dobrodružným duchom.
Sú tieto psy ťažké na výchovu?
Northaids môžu byť pre niektorých ľudí náročné na výchovu. Tieto psy niesú pre úplnych začiatočníkov alebo tých, ktorí očakávajú, že pes sa sám vychová. Majú unikátnu povahu, ktorá vyžaduje trpezlivosť, pochopenie a skutočný záväzok venovať im čas a pozornosť.
